3 DAYS CONGO GORILLA TOUR
The trip starts and ends in Kigali, Rwanda. Virunga national park is one of the oldest parks in Africa. Besides being the least visited gorilla destination, it doesn’t take away the fact that it has a lot to offer.
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Goma to Bukima in Democratic Republic of Congo.
After having breakfast, go for a city tour and visit the genocide memorial in Kigali. Have lunch in Kigali later transfer to Democratic Republic of Congo. The journey takes 4 hours to reach Gomaborder, get your visa then proceed to Bukima sector in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bukima sector.
After having breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. During the briefing, you will be told the rules to follow while trekking. You will then enter the jungle searching the allocated gorilla family. The interaction with the gorillas only lasts for an hour after which you will descend back to the starting point. Return to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali.
After having breakfast, drive back to Kigali for your flight back home. The drive back rewards you with remarkable sceneries of Lake Kivu, Congo-Nile drive, extensive planations, amazing forests and the towering Virunga massif. The driver will drop you at the hotel or airport for your departure flight.
