3 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH TOUR

This 3 day safari in Queen Elizabeth exposes you to various wildlife species like the buffalos, elephants, tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector, warthogs, banded mongoose, Uganda Kobs and antelopes among others.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early morning after breakfast, be picked up by a knowledgeable and experienced tour guide from the airport or the lodge where you will have spent the previous night and start on the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park in western Uganda. The journey itself is an experience of its own, you will have a stopover at the equator line that divides the world into two hemispheres and experience the water experiment that shows how water swirls to different directions in the opposite hemispheres.

Have a lunch stopover in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center or Agip motel and proceed directly to the park. On the way you will have views of the beautiful sceneries of Bunyaruguru hills, explosion craters and stunning views of Rwenzori Mountain.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a launch cruise along Kazinga channel.
Have a morning game drive through the park to see the beautiful landscape of the park featured with numerous crater lakes curled in the valleys of small hills in the park. The savanna landscape that homes more than 70 mammal species like the elephants, buffaloes, Oribis, warthogs, lions, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and many others which you can’t miss to spot on a game drive.

The afternoon will be occupied by a launch cruise along Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. This is one of the longest water channels in Africa and its shores are populated by several huge hippos, elephants that come over to cool themselves, other wildlife looking for water as well as various bird species. Actually it’s one of the famous birding spots in Uganda.

Day 3: Kasoga community walk and transfer back to Kampala.
After morning breakfast, proceed to the shores of Lake George and engage in a mid-morning community walk to explore the lives of the fishermen and pastoralists in this area. Retreat after and transfer back to Kampala along Kasese-Fort portal road and with an Enroute lunch, travel directly to Kampala or directly to the airport in Entebbe to catch up with a departure flight.
